“How do you feel about living in Germany?”
What do you do when your husband calls out of the blue and asks the above question (oh, and it’s happening in one month)? You say, “I’M IN!” then immediately think of all the reasons why it won’t work, pick up a bottle of wine, and begin to deep breathe.
Since that phone call I am still catching my breath… but we have begun to work out the details with friends, family, and clients whom we are so grateful for making this opportunity possible.
Working overseas for a time is one of Casey’s career goals, so I am very proud of him for making it happen, even if it is last minute (love you, babe). I have no idea what the next few months will look like for me, but I’m honored to support Casey’s dreams and excited to explore a new part of the world by his side.
If you’re one of my brides, do not fear, I’ll be there girl!
If you will be in Europe this summer or have contacts there, please reach out! I’ll most definitely be shooting along the way and would love to meet some adventurous souls.
My current mantra, just in case you need it too: “I trust the timing of my life.”
Cheers to knowing that the unknown is full of adventures greater than we could ever imagine.
